IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Argument

has sub-classes
evaluationc, examplec, justificationc
is in domain of
argues onop
is disjoint with
decisionc, positionc, statementc
An argument about a statement. An argument tries to be objective.

decisionc back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Decision

is in domain of
decidesop, supported byop
is disjoint with
argumentc, positionc, statementc
A decision on whether an idea should be accepted, or an issue resolved

elaborationc back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Elaboration

has super-classes
statementc
is in domain of
elaborates onop
is disjoint with
ideac, issuec
An elaboration that follows up on a statement by adding more detail in the same line of argumentation. An elaboration cannot start a discussion.

evaluationc back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Evaluation

has super-classes
argumentc
is disjoint with
examplec, justificationc
An argument supported by an evaluation

examplec back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Example

has super-classes
argumentc
is disjoint with
evaluationc, justificationc
An argument by means of an example

ideac back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Idea

has super-classes
statementc
is in domain of
proposes solution forop
is in range of
arises fromop
is disjoint with
elaborationc, issuec
An idea that is argued about; can be in response to an issue (as a proposed solution), or on its own

issuec back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Issue

has super-classes
statementc
is in domain of
arises fromop
is in range of
proposes solution forop
is disjoint with
elaborationc, ideac
An issue that is argued about; can be in response to an idea (as a concern), or on its own

justificationc back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Justification

has super-classes
argumentc
is disjoint with
evaluationc, examplec
An argument that justifies the support or challenge of a statement

positionc back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Position

is in domain of
position onop
is in range of
supported byop
is disjoint with
argumentc, decisionc, statementc
A (subjective) position, opinion, or vote on a statement or argument

statementc back to ToC or Class ToC

IRI: http://rdfs.org/sioc/argument#Statement

has sub-classes
elaborationc, ideac, issuec
is in range of
argues onop, elaborates onop
is disjoint with
argumentc, decisionc, positionc
A general statement. Any statement, except an elaboration, can start an argumentative discussion.
